Weekend Wrap-up

We had another great weekend… obviously too busy to post! I need a weekend from my weekend!

Stepping out Saturday {Morning}
This is me with Diana, Zumba teacher extraordinaire and friend, or Saturday morning AFTER class. (Totally a hot mess.)

Diana cuts the best shirts for class. Here we are rockin’ the same color and cut.  (These shirts are completely backless – sooo cool , literary.

Stepping out Saturday {Night}

Spent most of the afternoon watching basketball with some of Stephan’s school friends, and then had dinner with out good friends Chelsea and Joe! So exciting that they will be expanding their little family… they are getting a new puppy (hopefully by the end of the month!

Saturday simply rocked!

Shopping Sunday: Here is what I picked up at the consignment sale:


Fall Consignment : 2 pairs of pants, 2 long-sleeve shirts, 2 fall jackets, 1 corduroy dress TOTAL: $10

Summer Consignment: 3 blue jean skirts, 3 pairs of fun summer shorts, 1 dress, 1 bathing suit, 1 summer dress, and 5 shirts TOTAL: $18

Lastly – I want to leave you with with total yummy recipe for a healthy scrimp stirfry:

What you need:

Garlic (3 cloves)
Olive oil
Sugar snapped peas (1 handful)
Mushrooms (1 handful)
Tomato (1 handful)
Scrimp (1 handful)
Sesame seeds

Time: 10 – 15 minutes

What you do:

  • Heat olive oil (1 tablespoon), garlic, and mushrooms in a frying pan (cook till mushrooms look are soft)
  • Add in sugar snapped peas, and tomato (cook another 2 minutes, or till the peas start to brown on ends)
  • Add in tomato and scrimp (cook till scrimp are done)
  • Serve with a dash of sesame seeds on top (I also served with a side of avocado – because I love them!)
